How to discover information

Starsectors API is vast, vast enough that you will rarely find someone that knows about it all.
When you are working on your mod, you may quickly come across a topic that has no documentation here or where other modders cant provide you any help.

A critical skill to learn then is to know how to discover information by yourself. This page goes in to a few methods available.
